  • Account Manager – Elvey Pretoria

    Key areas of responsibility in this position include:

    • Responsible for achieving sales, revenues and profitability targets within the allocated client base or area as defined by Elvey Security Technologies.
    • Responsible for identifying and developing new clients deemed as suitable for Elvey Security Technologies within the allocated client base or area.
    • Provide regular feedback and reports as defined by relevant ISO procedures and by the responsible Sales Manager on activity within the specified client base or area.
    • Participate in the presentation of potential solutions to clients and negotiate Service Level Agreements in line with company policies, to meet the client’s requirement and expectations.
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans in the allocated client base or area to accommodate Company objectives, targets, and budgets.
    • Review market analysis to determine customer needs, and recommend price schedules and discount rates
    • Delivers sales presentations to clients and displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
    • Regularly meets with clients, assisting them with sales quotes, literature, technical support, marketing material and training
    • Monitors and evaluates competition activities and products.
    • Ensures calendar/CRM system updated with all client contact details and client activities within the branch. This includes details of contact persons, positions held, influence and decision-making level.
    • Ensures effective use of sales tools provided by the Company. These could be marketing, product, or business-related tools
    • Forecasting of current and future potential business within the client base including product category by vendorin conjunction with the Branch Manage
    • Schedule client visits in line with Elvey Security Technologies and client requirements to ensure consistent contact and knowledge transfer through to closure of the sale.
    • Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers on sales floor or by phone.
    • Provide effective delivery of training within the client base or area
    • Assist where needed in the preparation of client quotations in line with company ISO procedures and relative Service Level Agreements
    • Attend trade shows and product launches as scheduled by the company
    • Assists with all Stock Takes
    • Maintains ISO Compliancy
    • Monitor debtors together with finance department and sales manager to ensure timely collection of outstanding monies in line with Elvey Security Technologies policies and procedures. Provides immediate feedback to the debtors and finance departments with regards to any change in the clients’ status or ownership.
    • Work with all Elvey Security Technologies personnel responsible for the on-going quality service as required by the client –Management team, product managers, technical consultants, sales consultants, counter sales, procurement, warehousing, operations, finance, and administration.
    • Ensure ISO procedures with respect to pricing policy, discounts and SLA agreements are adhered to
    • Attend meetings as stipulated or scheduled by Elvey Security Technologies Management team
    • Solves technical queries on products, by providing either telephonic support or on-site support.
    • Gives afterhours support to clients, where necessary.
    • Assists fellow Sales Representatives with the support of their clients during illness, annual leave, or general unavailability.
    • Assists the Branch Supervisor in the management of all slow moving, excess and redundant stock.
    • Assists the Branch Supervisor with monthly stock forecasting.

    Minimum Skills Required:

    • Matric Certificate
    • Three to five years’ experience in the security Industry
    • Current Valid driver’s license
    • Fully insured for Business use, road worthy and licensed motor vehicle

  • Training Coordinator – Elvey Head Office

    Key areas of responsibility in this position include:

    • Manages Training Calendar and adds, reschedules, or cancels training as directed.
    • Updates Training Schedules and distributes these internally on a monthly basis.
    • Independently resolves staff, branch, and customer queries, informing the Technical Training Manager when required.
    • Distributes updated booking forms as required.
    • Compiles attendance registers from booking forms received.
    • Assigns learners to scheduled courses on the Training Calendar.
    • Tracks booking forms received for unscheduled courses and requests course scheduling when there is sufficient demand.
    • Sends out a reminder to branches 30 days before each scheduled course is due.
    • Follows up confirmed bookings as required.
    • Mail-merges Learner name-cards from attendance register and prints or electronically distributes these as required.
    • Confirms each learner’s attendance for scheduled courses at least eight working days in advance for local or branch facilitated courses and 10 working days in advance for branch courses that are moderated or facilitated by a member of the training department.
    • Prints training material for head office courses or courses facilitated by a member of the training department.
    • Captures and maintains accurate data in spreadsheets and or databases as required.
    • Prints relevant training certificates and training cards as required.
    • Maintains Training Department’s order book.
    • Maintains Training department’s expenditure records
    • Maintains and accounts for Training department’s petty cash.
    • Files documents in an organized manner so that records are easily assessable.
    • Compiles and prepares confidential correspondence, reports and other complex documents as required.
    • Arrange detailed travel plans and itineraries as required.
    • Assist in organizing training events and workshops.
    • Arrange facilities and catering for staff and client training, issuing information and documenting expenditure.
    • Accountable for the safekeeping and control of all stock held in the Training Warehouses.
    • Responsible for the dispatch, transfer and receiving of all stock in all Training Department Warehouses and Asset Registers.
    • Maintain ISO Compliancy
    • Work occasional weekends, when required.

    Minimum Skills Required:

    • Matric Certificate
    • Three to five years’ experience in the security Industry
    • Must be computer literate
    • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

    Specific Job Skills Required:

    • Must be fully computer literate.

  • Exports Account Manager – Elvey Group

    Summary:

    Key areas of responsibility in this position include:

    • Responsible for achieving sales, revenues and GP targets within the allocated client base or area as defined by Elvey Exports.

    • Visit, e-mail, telephone calls to clients as per calling structures.

    Specific Job Skills Required:

    • Interpersonal skills.
    • Strong CCTV, Access Control, Fire, PA, Networking, and Integration Experience.
    • Proven Sales Track history.
    • Basic mathematical skills.
    • Basic reasoning ability.
    • Portuguese or French speaking will be advantageous
