Teamwork in Action - 94.7 Cycle Challenge

Among the 25 000 participants in the Pick n Pay 94.7 Cycle Challenge, which took place through the streets of Johannesburg on 16 November, was the team from Elvey Security Technologies. Though they finished comfortably within the mandated 6 hours, they didn’t collect the R25 000 winner’s purse. They did, however, take home the satisfaction of participating in a world-class sporting event while contributing to a worthy cause.

“The Pick n Pay 94.7 Cycle Challenge supports the Homeless Talk Crèche in Joubert Park, which looks after the children of Homeless Talk vendors,” said Elvey CEO Jack Edery after the race. “We’re delighted to have played a role in keeping the children off the streets while their parents are earning a living.”
